Announcing the launching of the Cafe Heroes in Heanor in Derbyshire. See attached download.
The UK Charity Gamelea Training Trust and  FUTURES homescape are launching the  Social Enterprise Cafe Heroes (supporting Local Heroes).
This event will take place on 16th November 2011.
The Guest Appearance of John Burton-Race  Michelin Star Chef . Television personality and Restaurateur. 
Also The opening of the Familt Trauma Centre for the UK . A training centre and therapy centre to train and also offer therapy to families of PTSD Sufferers the first in the uk  for this much needed service. The Heanor Veterans Project will provide supported accomodation for up to eight homeless ex-service personnel and a advice and signposting service at the cafe. This project is the first of its kind in the Amber Valley and will provide desperately needed services to men and women and their families who have served their country.    
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Our next important event is the joining up with the  Care Farming Charity of GAMELEA www.gameleactt.org.uk , This is being brought about to work together in helping and assisting Ex-Service  personnel who have been in prison as a  result of their behaviour with regard to PTSD issues. This particular  group of exservicemen are often homeless after
release from their prison sentences.
Gamelea and FTCUK are teaming up to help provide a  number of  places of accomodation accompanied by theraputic
input to help and assist them to settle back into civilian life. We are lanuching this scheme  on the  21st June 2011 based in Mattlock at the  County Council offices. This event will be a conference to present the scheme to the general public and also to the media. Full details can be obtained from the Gamelea web site.
 
The Family Trauma Centre is soon to co- located with this scheme in the  Derbyshire town of Heanor.
A purpose built training centre is being provided to run and administer  the F.T.C.UK at this base.All our  accredited courses and other courses will be run from this centre
after the launch date of 26th June 2011 National  Armed Forces Day.

Report on the  results of the  First national conference  on PTSD for homeless veterans conference in Matlock  Derbyshire. I have to report it has gone very well and we had a good attendance at the conference and all speakers kept the attendees well informed about all different  aspects of PTSD and how it effects sufferers and also their families including their children.
The comments of the deligates was that they all enjoyed the event and are looking forward to the next one we run.

The latest course is  now nearly over  which has been provided in St Ives in Cambridgeshire. 18  students are about to finish this latest  course. 
 
The  next course will be run in Heanor in Derbyshire at our new training centre.
